Simple way to make a DIY track saw jig to guide your circular saw. This homemade skilsaw tracksaw is perfect for woodworking projects when you need a way to break down sheet goods without a table saw. I'll show you how to make a simple jig to cut straight lines with no clamps. You don't need to spend a ton of money on a Festool, Makita, or Wen track saw guide rail. This simple build works with any circular saw. The best part is you don't have to make any modifications to your saw. Great Clickbait & Even Better Video Sir 👍
Probably the easiest and most robust track saw idea I've seen. Thank you!!!
YouTube suggesting click bate again 🤣
Come on.... Click bait title.
I bought a Festool track saw with a few tracks, and stopped wasting my time with DIY jigs.
You’re welcome. Lol
Festool and any other tool manufacturers can suck a big fat one if they think they'll ever be successful in having a DIY implement or how to video banned.
What are the 1 inch holes for ?
Thank you for the video
Too much trouble. Sometimes it's just best to do it better.
sometime need clamps too this slippery tape not working good ewerytime. festools have big shit ower prize expensive and not have anythink better than other brand tools.
Thanks very much, going to adapt for a Jigsaw, for my very basic beginner workshop build...
GO AHEAD GO AHEAD.
What a stupid title. Wouldn’t watch this vid to save my life.
I don't think Festool have any worries.
Lol I’m sure there scared of the ghetto track saw🤣
Is nobody going to comment on wtf happened at DOWMtyq1n-I&t=2m42s 2:42 . Thank God I wasn’t high whilst watching this video!!!!
But if you don’t want to be screwing things down, try a track saw. It’ll likely save you a lot of frustration, and the tracks would be much lighter to move around than this board and straight edge. Still lol to the Festool rep response.
LOL. No sense of humour from Festool reps. I wonder if screwing down a Festool track as your straight edge would cause it to be banned.
